DESCRIPTION:With our Lizmap hosting service\, we provide and monitor severa
l hundred Qgis Servers. These Qgis Servers receive and process 5.2 million
requests per week\, including 4.8 million WMS GetMap requests.\nWe have d
eveloped Py-Qgis-Server to solve some of the problems we encounter: manage
 ment of long-running requests\, automatic restart\, project caches\, etc.\
nPy-Qgis-Server 2 has been designed for the cloud. It uses a microservices
architecture with gRPC to control the various QGIS Server processes that
handle OGC requests.\nWe'll look back at the initial need that led to the
development of Py-Qgis-Server. We'll present the reasons for this rewritin
g\, and finish with a look at the possibilities offered by Py-QGIS-Server
 2.
