DESCRIPTION:At GlobalEDA\, the GIS Department has been an active representa
 tive of Open-Source GIS since 2015. Our main market is in the Azores Regio
 n\, where we focus on collaborating with public entities\, aiming for read
 ily accessible and easy to understand WebGIS solutions. \n\nThis presents 
 an unique setting for Open-Source GIS\, where many public entities either 
 don't have a WebGIS solution at all\, or have committed themselves to clos
 ed-source solutions (mainly ESRI).  It's also rare to find GIS technicians
  in these public entities who are able to use these closed-source solution
 s in a way that justifies their licensing fees.\n\nWe believe that MapStor
 e2 is a very complete WebGIS solution which addresses all of the use cases
  necessary for these entities. With that being said\, we have been using t
 his framework to address these needs\, and we've also developed our own in
 -house MapStore2 Plugin. \n \nThis plugin allows any user to draw a polygo
 n on a map and have that polygon drawn on top of any number of maps in a g
 iven QGIS Layout\, which are consumed\, and printed\, by QGIS Server.  In 
 this talk\, we're presenting you our specific implementation of this solut
 ion.
