DESCRIPTION:Tangible Landscape (TL) is a projection-augmented sandbox power
ed by a Geographical Information System (GIS) for real-time geospatial ana
lysis and simulation. TL couples an elevation model mock-up with a digital
model in near-real time using 3D sensing\, enabling users to apply geospa
tial modelling\, simulation and visualisation. Since February 2024\, to me
et the needs of the atelier session for future perspectives in the bifurca
tion point of Old Rhine River and Waal\, WUR is integrating TL with the hy
drological model SFINCS. In this way\, users can observe the impact of the
ir intervention in terms of flood depth in a realistic way.
