Prof. (Dr.) Rajan Dev Gupta
Prof. Rajan Dev Gupta, Professor (Geoinformatics), Civil Engineering, MNNIT Allahabad (India) have teaching and research experience of over 38 years. He obtained B.E. (Civil), M.E. (Remote Sensing) and Ph.D. (Geoinformatics) degrees from IIT, Roorkee (India). He served as Head of Department from 2017 - 2019. He was founder Coordinator of GIS Cell. He developed M.Tech. (GIS and Remote Sensing) Programme in 2006-07.
His research interests include Drone Technology, AI, Web GIS (Full stack developer), SDI, FOSS and Climate Change. He visited foreign countries- Tampa, USA; Atlanta, USA, AIT Bangkok; Spain; China and Hong Kong for academics.
Session
The workshop will impart hands-on training in the design and development of an interoperable web GIS framework using OSGR and OGC standards. The framework is built upon a three tier [data tier, service tier and client tier] thin client server architecture with live demonstration of prototype web GIS.
