DESCRIPTION:QGIS is one of the most used Open-Source GIS Software. It is po
ssible to display\, edit\, analyse\, process different kind of data such a
 s vector\, raster\, mesh\, point clouds etc.\n\nQGIS has some native funct
ionalities to work with OSM data. Either with raster layer as a basemap\,
or with vector\, QGIS can deal with OSM data. Depending on the amount of d
ata to work with\, the need to "refresh" the data (from the main OSM datab
ase)\, the extent of the coverage\, different plugins or technologies are
possible.\n\nThis presentation will try to give an overview how it's possi
ble to use OpenStreetMap data within QGIS according to different situation
 s (Geocoding\, TMS/WMS\, Overpass-API\, Docker\, PostgreSQL…).\nThe pres
entation will show how you can contribute to QuickOSM to add some default
« map preset » to QuickOSM core on GitHub. This feature in QuickOSM al
lows users to have a set of vector layer with styles in QGIS which are rea
dy to be used\, with a symbology.
