DESCRIPTION:When natural disasters such as floods and earthquakes occur\, m
uch work is required for recovery and reconstruction. Depending on the sca
le of the disaster\, it is often not enough for the government and local g
overnments to do the work alone. Disaster relief through volunteer activit
ies by many individuals and organizations is also necessary.\n\nIn this ki
nd of work with diverse participants\, it is very important to collect and
analyze information\, plan the work\, and divide the work among the vario
us members.\n\nIt would be very beneficial to have computer technology ava
ilable to survey disaster situations and collect\, consolidate\, and share
data\n\nIt would be useful to be able to use the smartphones that many pe
ople own for information gathering and sharing mechanisms.\n\nJapan's Coor
dinating Organization for Volunteer Organizations in Disasters\n(Japan Vol
untary Organizations Active in Disaster) and its component organization\,
the IT Disaster Assistance and Response Team\, developed a smartphone-base
d disaster information collection system in 2019 that has been used to col
lect and use information at many flood sites.\n\nThis system transmits dis
aster information collected by smartphones and consolidates it into a Goog
le Spread Sheet.\n\nAn API has also been created to distribute information
collected from Google Spread Sheet in GeoJSON format.Using this API\, it
is also possible to use disaster information on web maps and QGIS.\n\nIn t
his presentation\, I will describe the status of the creation and use of t
 his system.
